Black Sea Bass Sake

Recipe

Sake Marinade

  • 1/2 cup sake
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Sake Marinade Preparation

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix throughly (super easy!)


Black Sea Bass Preparation

  • Pat down your sea bass filets
  • Place in glass baking dish to marinade for 3-12 hours, stirring occasionally (we only marinaded for 3, but next time will for a longer period to soak in more of the sake goodness)
  • Grill on medium heat for 6-8 minutes (sorry, I'm not sure how we forgot to take a pic)


We served our Black Sea Bass Sake with green beans and garlic flavored rice, paired with a glass of sauvignon blanc.  We'll definitely be preparing this one again.
